I am gathering some items to install on my 12 vee and have some questions about running the wires in split loom.

First off, if I am running wires from a fuse box to the handle bar area, I assume that I can run several wires in the same loom?

I also plan to install a headlight relay. Is it best to attach it directly to the battery? I'm thinking it would be protected in it's own loom since it probably heads to another part of the bike than the gps/power outlet/etc?

What size loom is best? I see 3/8", 1/2", and 1/4"?

Thanks for your help, I didn't really find the info by searching.

And thanks for all the great info on this board, I have read and learned a lot.

OK to run multiple wires in one or two looms, whatever fits. If it works for you, you can run one large gauge negative for all the items. You do need a negative that runs to the battery negative post or the fuse block negative bus.

Pick the wire gauge by the expected load, and the fuse size by the wire gauge.

My headlight relay power comes off the fuse block; you can do it either way. I run my horns directly off the battery, they are the heavy load.
