[Cascade Wanderer]

My son and I are headed up there on Sunday, but we're starting from Wenatchee. Will likely grab something to eat in Winthrop, head up to the top of the pass, then turn around and head for home.

My oldest son grabbed me this morning and said "Let's Ride!" So... Sure! It was pretty neat spending the day with my oldest, doing something we both enjoy. Rode about 280 miles today. North along the Columbia, then west on the North Cascades Highway. Stopped for hot coffee and the famous "Joe Scramble" in the western town of Winthrop. Most of the ride was pretty warm, but my son accused me of trying to freeze him up on Washington Pass, where these photos were taken:

Sure enjoyed the ride and the company. Hope all of you enjoyed your Father's Day as well. A little windy, but it was nice and dry and warm over on this side of the mountain - was only cold up on the pass in all that snow!
