Is something preventing the lid from fully closing?

No, the lid closes fully, only have a problem opening.

It's as if the hook end of the latch, the one that goes up inside the lid and grabs it? Yeah, that part. The hook is sticky for some reason. I have to tap it loose to get the case open.

I'll see about taking some photos 'cuz this is getting too confusing without them. Might start a thread on the E41's as I have some other thoughts that I haven't seen written about anywhere so far.

Installed LED flashes-3-times-on-braking lamps in the taillight.

Installed one Aprilia Tuono style mirror. Going to try one OEM and one Aprilia type mirror and see how I like it.
