And more new tires. Motoz Tractionator GPS front and rear. These are the second and third tires I've changed with my el-cheapo tire changer. These two did not go nearly as smoothly as the first, I'm blaming termperature. Last time was a hot summer day, this time was a cool fall night, the rubber was much colder.

Tearing mine down. Put OEM windshield back on in low position. Removing stuff I don't need.

Drag race on Sunday. I have to ride it there but I will try to snap a few pics and results.

ADD: I did make it to the drag strip, but I got there too late. No runs made. :(

Installed "Akozon" offset bar risers (from Amazon), Barkbuster Storm hand guards, and after trimming 2.5" from the top of this touring windscreen (eBay), I trimmed the cutoff piece and attached it as a lip screen at the top using M6 bolts, 3/4" couplers as spacers, and nylon lock nuts. That small strip made a bigger improvement than I was expecting.

Mild excitement recently: One of the relays in my Eastern Beaver headlight harness failed. ~$7 later and highbeams work again.

Where did you get the replacement relay? Is it a 4-pole or 5-pole?
Where did you get the replacement relay?
I replaced it with the same make / model relay from Digikey: Panasonic CA1A-12V-N-5

cool, thanks. I wasn’t sure where to find that info. Much appreciated!
Took the clutch cover off again. Stock springs sometimes will slip under WOT.

Going back to 3 Barnett clutch springs. All six gave me golfers elbow!

I installed the Koake throttle control today. So nice being able to remove my right hand for a bit. Quality build but not cheap. Well worth it to me.

Installed Beamtech LED headlights on my 08, was supper easy after I figured out that the removable flange seat means you can put it in after boot is in place. Cole looks good and aim was just like the original and to spec.

I just received and installed my Bark Buster Blizzard hand guards. They are a universal fit, install on hollow and bar end weighted bars. Very well made, typical BB quality fabric and hardware. They have their own reinforcing, but I installed mine right over my Bark Buster VPS setup. There is enough hardware included to install on any setup, or open a parts store.
As I already have BB's, I didn't need any of it. I have a 70 mile round trip engagement tonite, we'll see how they work in the hypothermia-inducing 60 degree temps; supposed to be in the upper 60s, maybe even 70'sF/20sC thru midweek.

I just installed a pair of Barkbuster Blizzards on mine. Anything we can do to lengthen the riding season and shorten the winter dormancy is a good thing!

I finished the 'bike hutch'! I built a roof under the veranda and hung a bamboo and wire screen to block rain/sun/eyes. Now my bike is under cover! It's almost like a garage (I can just walk down either side of the bike).

Removed the 4 rectangular rubber bumpers from the bottom of the stock seat. It netted me around 3/8" of lowering. The seat now squeaks badly from any movement and flops up and down at the tank about that 3/8" I mentioned. So I put 8 shorter rubber corks in the holes where the stock bumpers were. No help, the stock setup is well-fitted and tweaking it right requires a bit more.

Wrestled on a new Bstone AT41 front tire yesterday. Too cold and windy for a test ride today. :(

Installed a bar riser from the Mart...Oxmart that is. If fit well and I measured it. 1" up and 1" back. Moved all the cabling and hoses to the sides. Made holding brackets out of an old shower caddy lol. Didn't have to mess with anything in earnest. I can see the brake line would be the first thing to require serious attention. Then problably the clutch line. I doubt you can go any more and still trust the brake line, at least on my 2013. The riser was black anodized and looked pretty bad, so I gave everything a coat of black satin enamel. Took a ride, everything works. And my neck didn't ache this time.
