I had clear tape on the tank of my DL1000 for exactly that reason. Otherwise the Sit and Fly material will rub against and mar the paint.

Good to see one on a Wee3. Might order sooner than later.

The cover came in and threw it on the bike. Looks good! Definitely gonna get some sort of clear tape to cover the part where the seat touches the tank

Installed L.E.D.'s from Super Bright L.E.D.'s. I installed headlights, front amber parking/running lights, taillight/brakelight, and license plate light (which I turned into an extra rear taillight.)

This is the list of lights that I used:
1157-NW51-PT: Natural White
194-ACOB1W: Amber - Single
67-NW12-G: Natural White
H4-HLV5: Natural White

The new lights are on your left. The ones on your right are factory.

The headlights only draw 25 watts each, the brakelight 3 watts, the parking/running lights 1 watt each, and the license plate light 1.6 watts. That means I'm saving almost 100 watts of power over using the factory bulbs.

While still waiting for the new 2022 to come in, my 3 keyed alike locks for the knock off Pelican cases came in, so I thought I would install them. After I drilled out the holes with a 11/16" spade bit, I installed the locknuts. I noticed they were sitting proud just below the opening. Seems the inside of the cases taper towards the opening, so I got out the Dremel with a sanding drum and reduced that taper, so the locknut sits a lot better.
Awaiting for the lock covers to come in to make them waterproof.
I still have to make the CRUCIAL measurements to place/drill/install my fabbed up lock catches in the top lid. (measure 10 x, drill once

Well not today but over the last few:

installed Atlas throttle lock
installed new OEM style handguards
installed SW Motech Ion footpegs
installed Adventure Tech lowering kit
installed a dual USB port socket in lieu of stock cigarette socket
removed and cleaned all brake calipers and pads
cleaned air filter (12000km)
topped up coolant
aligned drive chain
cleaned and checked the spokes

Running out of things to do now and I'm ready to roll. How many more sleeps??
