Hello,
I noticed while riding in the dark I did not have low-beam light.
I am thinking about LED bulb in low-beam.. also while I am at it.. I perhaps should put LED high beam too.
I saw some on youtube putting h7 led OSRAM for low beam, is that good ?
What would be good for high beam LED bulb?

Thank you

I don't if it's the same for the 1000, but my 650 calls for 65W H9 Highbeam and 55W H7 Lowbeam

Did you use LED by any chance ?
Which ones ?
No, sorry, can't help with that. I was just saying that your headlights might be the same as DL650, so the LEDs they sell will tell you whether they're for H9, or H7, or whatever else. You know that your low beam is an H7, so you just need to find out what your high beam is (i.e. H9, maybe). Most of the LEDs I've seen come in a set and they'll specify as I said.

Maybe you've seen this video, among others:

My 2014 1000 had a lot of trouble with the low beam not working it turned out the terminals on the socket at the globe had gotten hot this made them soft and gave a poor connection, I replaced the terminals, this fixed the issue.
I went with LED bulbs (high beam and low beam) from Cyclops and couldn't be happier.

They come with an external ballast but you can find spots for them. If you do a search on this forum you will find several posts covering this topic.
