2016 Strom 1000ABS. Just checked at the pump two days ago after a session of backroad and B road riding and calculated 61 miles per Imperial. I was surprised as previous checks achieved mid 50's. However I recently fitted a new air filter.
2011 650 with abs.

55ish per US gallon. I can break 60 if I ride like a grandma all the time and avoid the slab.
2012 V 677 modified out the wazoo.

54-52 mpg.
You all must rarely exceed 60mph! Lifetime average will hover around 45, for me. You cannot just report one tank. Minor variations in fill level and riding conditions will have large effects. Track all fuel purchases over time and mileage. Both my stroms have been very consistent, though the '21 does a little better than the '08 did by 2-ish mpg.

'05 DL650 @ 48,000+

grin inducing/gear box exercising, climby-divey/twisty turny roads in close proximity. I despise and avoid Interstate drones as well as dense driver (per lane) concentrations...., and still every top off always yields 50ish MPG USA.

If you never ride interstates and don't commute (not much idling), I believe that number. Good deal.
2020 DL650XTA. 14k miles average just over 50 mpg overall. A lot of commuting on the slab (~110 miles RT) gets about 48 mpg. Around town, backroads, can be up over 60 mpg. All with panniers and extra large rider.
2009 DL650 with 104K miles: Average 64 MPG USA, 100's of fill ups.

Not a lot of interstates, and don't commute, (not much idling), secondary roads cruising at 50 mph.

2008 DL650A, 13K miles, K&N air filter and Akrapovic exhaust. Once got 35 mpg going 90+ mph on freeway, 40 mpg going 80+ mph on freeway, and 54 mpg driving 35-65 mph on highways.

Tracked my fuel mileage for the first year of ownership on my 2020 650 XT. 30 fill-ups total. Low was 50.1 MPG, best tank was 60.1 MPG and for an average of 55.8 MPG. I don't spend much time on the freeways at over 70 MPH. I found the trip meter's estimate of MPG to be fairly accurate so I don't keep track anymore.
2018 DL650A - 3500 miles, Average 45.3 mpg (19.26 kpl) mix of commuting (10 miles RT) weekend touring, not a whole bunch of slab yet but will get out more.
2012 650 with skidplate, crashguard, trailer hitch, topcase, madstad, and other farkles. Average for me has been a consistent 45-48mpg US for the last 5k miles.
My 2020 650 has averaged 48.1 mpg over 2,610 miles. Most of those miles are the 10-mile trip to work which is about half city, half highway riding anywhere from 60mph to 80mph on the highway. I actually go a little faster.

I was hoping I'd be getting in the 50s mpg land.

2018 650 xt gets between 50 and 60 depending on the mix of highway.

Track all my fuel fills (and all maintenance items) in annual log books. I haven't averaged the fills for this year yet since May (there haven't been many) but if memory serves it's between 62-64 for last year. Not much highway use other than the usual two lane rural stuff getting back/forth to the forestry and gravel roads.
The Wing 1800 gets 42-44 mpg.
The old 2003 VW TDI has a lifetime average of 52 mpg.

😳
I only get it if I'm tailgating behind a truck

I kinda miss my 2004 Jetta Wagon tdi. 44-46 winter, 50-52 summer. But, I don't miss fixing it. I gave it to my nephew when it rolled over 250,000 miles.
Plus, diesel is stupidly expensive for many years now. Back when I was making biodiesel I really wanted one of those Kawasaki diesel bikes that the Army ordered.
Also stupidly expensive when they come up in the resale market. And honestly, they only got high 40's to low 50's mpg.

....shrugs....
