Sappuer - Yes, this is a nice route and I agree with your comment about skipping I-79. From Valley Falls, I would turn right coming out of the park onto Rt 310 to Grafton, Rt 119 south to Buckhannon, then enjoy one of the best motorcycle roads in WV - Rt 20 south to Webster Springs , then over to Summersville to re-join the printed loop.

I am also in Morgantown. PM me sometime.

BTW - On Rt 20 about 20 miles south of Rock Cave (and about 15 miles north of Webster Springs), you have to stop at Rella's Diner for some home-cookin' and pie. She is a feisty and friendly Great-Grandma who runs a diner out of an old trailer. The folks over at ADV stop there regularly and she loves riders.

You must stop at the Custard Stand in Webster Springs. One stoplight in Webster Springs, I believe the only one in the county, and Custard Stand is on the Southeast corner of it. Route 20 from Buckhannon to Webster Springs is great. Get gas in Webster Springs, not many gas stations in the county!

There is a part of route 60 between Anstead and Gauley Bridge that you will likely turn around and ride back and forth on!

19 from Flatwoods to Summersville is a speed trap. Running 20 to Craigsville then look for 55/41 to Summersville is good if time is short or just run 20 to Fenwick and then 39 over to Summersville.

What a neat subject to cause a moto tour. Some brand of riders ride from road house to road hose for a beer and most likely stimulating conversation.

It's about the journey and exploring the great state. Thanks for the tip on Rella's. Will definitely try and stop next time I'm through that area.
