WERKS clutch baskets are available for 2002 to current year DL 1000's. All years SV 1000. We have completed over 1000 modified clutch baskets and going strong! We can modify your clutch basket, usually taking 1 business day to complete the work and ship back the day after being received. 2-3 day delivery time after shipping date. We also keep fully modified clutch baskets for all models built on good used cores to use in our exchange program. We ship you a modified basket, you install that and return your old core to be but back in the program. Do the job in one evening. We also keep new OEM clutch baskets with full WERKS modifications available. All new OEM baskets built for DL 1000 are built on the new 2018 design clutch basket from Suzuki.

Our Installation page of the website has a video to guide you around common mistakes and gives some shortcuts. Not a manual for doing the job, just a reinforcement of what to do and what not to do.

As always, if you have questions e-mail us. We get back to you quickly in most cases. [email protected]

Terry's got a quality product here. Sent my basket off and got it back in less than a week. Just put Sarafina back together in time for the good weather and she feels like a brand new bike. If you're on the fence about getting this done, just do it. Couldn't be happier.

Will the rattling noise at idle in neutral that completely goes away when the clutch lever is pulled be gone after this mod without pulling in the lever? About to pull the trigger on this.Black Friday deals? :surprise:>:):wink2:

A worn clutch basket makes a lot of tinny metallic noises. Pulling in the clutch lever stops this to a degree as the pistons firing causes the inner plate to shift back and forth. Pulling in the clutch smooths that out and quiets it. But that isn't the only think that makes noise that goes away when you pull in the lever. The transmission gears, bearings also slow/stop when you pull in the lever and those become quiet too. But yes, there is a significant reduction in noise at idle with the clutch engaged after fitting a modified clutch basket.
