We're getting the 800 parallel twin here next year along with the existing 650 and 1050 apparently....

Nice I think.
Yeah, that's going to be a tough sell, even with the suspension upgrades and more power...and a quickshifter?! Unexpected.
Interesting and with Honda's new Transalp 750 also just released, fun times ahead. I guess wait and see which come to Canada and at what price.
Dang, what a goofy looking thing.
It's up on the USA website already too.

Reminds me of Chevy Chase's "Family Truckster" :ROFLMAO:

Should have a lot more get up and go than the 650 though.

$18,590?

Nope.
That is AUD (Australian website) - at current exchange rates that is $12K USD

That is more than double what my 17' 650 cost when I bought it new in 18'. I can't see how they went for Tubed tires as Spec points out. . These bikes should never really see more than a gravel road at 500 plus pounds.

ADV types seem to think that a 21" front somehow makes a 500+ lb dirt worthy.

Hey they did add an inch of ground clearance so there ya go, Dakar ready! 😁

Never, ever buy a first year motor!

Oh poo. It takes two years to find and fix the bugs, so by that logic, you shouldn't buy a second-year model either. Besides, what we talk about if there were no opportunities for improvement and recalls?
