We will be going on a ride in the area around Lac Simon/Lac Gagnon. Total distance ~300km round trip. This will have ~100km gravel/dirt. The road is expected to be rocky and at times wet, but mostly hard bottom. It is suitable for VStroms. I did it a few weeks ago on worn road tires.

Meeting at Tims on Innes Rd in Ottawa at ~8:30, leaving at 9.
It will be a good day, sunny but not too hot.

Please RSVP.

This is my second time in that region. The trail is excellent. Mountains, lakes, twisties. Huge area to explore. This is part of the Papineu-Labelle natural reserve.

How long does that loop take approximately on a bike? Is the Google Maps timing accurate? I'm headed that way tomorrow - well - to Algonquin Park and then into Gatineau - but looking for some interesting trails too.
