If anyone is interested in Sunday morning rides around central NY, the Finger Lakes, or the Adirondacks please let me know. Thinking strongly of doing NYS 30 from Hancock to the Canadian border the weekend after Labor Day.

I would be interested in riding with you sometime. I live in Guilderland, just west of Albany. E mail me sometime so we can work out the details. I would maybe be able to do some of the Rt. 30 ride you mentioned. A couple of my friends and I do the southern part of 30 quite often.

Love that route!

Just got back from Tupper Lake this morning in fact. I normally meet my buddy (who also has a Strom) somewhere between my home in Mexico, NY and his in Tupper Laks almost every Sunday. We had planned on a trip to Maine this weekend but that got washed out. :-(

I'm in for the trip if you're still thinking of doing it.

Not this time, but maybe the next one

I live in Northern Rensselaer County, and would be interested in rides. I keep a busy schedule, but would consider last minute trips if they fit in.

I typically read the New England forum, as most East Coast stuff is too far South for my tastes, check out there too. There's a ride coming up the weekend of the 16th.

Route 30 9/9/06

I am not sure if I waited long enought for my first reply to be posted but sice it has not yet appeared --

It looks like there might be at least a few of us this weekend (9/9/06). I will leave Chenango Bridge at 6:30 Saturday AM and take 17 to East Branch and follow 30 North. We have a scheduled meet up at the Sunoco station in Grand Gorge, NY (intersection of 23 and 30) at 8:30 to 9:00.

Please contact me by e-mail or 607-765-7038 if you want to meet up somewhere. I should be easy to recognize, the old guy on the Silver V-Strom wearing enough Ballistic cloth to make a tent.
