I went anyway
Well.......I got started a bit late.
From home I headed up to North Richmond and the back way to Bowen Mountain then in through Kurrajong and out on to the
Bell's Line and stopped at Bilpin for a light lunch.
The current temperature is showing at the top left corner of my phone, yes it does say 4 deg., on the way to a top of 7 deg. up there
[don't you just love modern technology? Now you can actually confirm you are freezing your arse off :frown: ].
At least I had a little sunshine while I was stopped.
I was contemplating going through to Lithgow to check out the local bike shops and farm machinery suppliers
[I'm still looking for an Ag bike to use for trail rides in the mountains packed with a tent and some camping gear].
But by the time I got to Mount Charles the temperature had DROPPED noticeably :yikes:
So I turned around and headed back, looping off at Comleroy road towards the Putty Road I then meandered my way down to
Freeman's Reach and back home.
Although fairly cool, I had a good ride with little traffic.
There were plenty of winding sections and the roads were dry.
I really must get my head around the fact that winter is officially here
and wear warmer gear, a T-shirt under the jacket and my summer mesh riding pants just aren't enough these days :headbang:
Maybe I will buy some better deodorant, then you blokes might actually come along when I post a ride :yesnod:
:green_lol::green_lol::green_lol::green_lol:
Actually I know you all had other commitments, thanks for the responses and phone calls regarding the ride.
