Fixing stroms spedo after chaging sprockets.
I have read all the all the threds on spedo fixes but has any one ever installing a wee spedo pickup on a stom?:yikes:
One that comes on the front weel rather than the front sprocket.

The wheel on the Wee has a machined area for the "magnet" (13/16) to sit, as well as a lip for the seal and sensor to slot into, so you'd probably have to go for a wheel too, then custom spacers for it, and axle spacers. It'd probably cost a lot more than a speedohealer unless you did the machine work yourself.

Now, if you had the complete front end of a Wee lying around and adapted the triple tree and everything else to fit, you might be in business...at the cost of "downgrading" to the Wee forks...

I would like to to see all the parts on the floor.
Dealing with bikes my whole life the same parts are used alot of dif.bikes, easier to steel an idea than build a new one.

The Vee has a larger diameter axle than the Wee. The pickup won't fit.

Try a bicycle computer. Attach the magnet to the wheel and the pickup to the fork leg.
