Anyone attend? I was there today. Crowd was not too bad but getting worse as the day progressed. Seen a couple of Stroms, Ducati Multistrada, some BMW's. Got some pants from the GP Bikes booth. Lots of South Asian leather vendors. Not a bad day for $15.00 ($18.00 without coupon).

I only got my M2 in November, and while I'm smitten with the Wee, I used it for education purposes to size up what bike fits me and what doesn't. Heck, with all the dealers and alot of used bikes it was a great opportunity for me, to sit on a bunch of bikes, without having to listen to the sales pitch. I was able to rule out a bunch of bikes a my first bike. (I'm still sitting on the fence, whether the wee is a good starter bike, but that's another discussion) ...and the Versys, at the risk of starting a riot, it was nice, that's all I'm saying.

The customs and chopper section was cool, the imagination and creativity these guys have astounds me, so much time and effort put into a project. It's truly a labour of love, not my cup of tea, but my hat's off to them.

The museum section was pretty good, so nice old bikes, owned by some nice old guys.

All in all it was great... for me.

I went on Friday afternoon and bought a nice flip front helmet for cheap. It was a nice show all in all. I was looking for side cases or a trunk but didn't find anything.

Just got back. Co worker who is planing on getting a bike and his license this summer wanted to look at some bikes and pick up some gear and wanted some advice.

I ended up picking up a new brain bucket too. Got one of those new Shoei Hornet DS in Black. VERY nice lid and fits very well compared to my last two helmets (HJC CL15, CL MAX) and just as good as my first helmet (HJC CL 12).

Co Worker got a HJC CL 15 and decided his first bikes gona be a new Kawi Ninja 250.

I tried on the Hornet at the Parker Bros. stand. Found out I have a Shoei head. Very nice helmet anyway. Good price, too. Matches US price of just over $400. Now, what do I do with other two helmets: Suomy full-face and KBC flip-up model? I love the fit of the Suomy but it's too noisy. Love the KBC but its eye cutouts don't go back far enough and it's a bit heavy. My head hurt in too many places when I tried on the Arai XD. The Hornet seems to be just right. Damn, I hate inevitability. :-D (not to mention the disbursal of $484).
