Is the above tool just a jumper and is there anything hidden in black tube, resistor or anything?
I want to try to use the strom ecm to find the current trouble that I have on my LEMON STROM.
The tool is like a toggle switch with a black tube when inside seems to run 2 wires, I would like to no if there anything else inside, this tool is to put the ecm in diagnostic mode.
Search my post for current trouble please.

You can use just a short wire or simthing. I took about a 5 inch piece of wire and stripped each end and use that as my jumper. A straightened paper clip would work, also.
Yes I could do that but the problem is witch of 3 wires I jump??

Yup, unfold a paper clip and your new "tool" will get the same results as Suzuki's tool they probably want more than a few bucks for.

Here you go:
Update for 2004 Models Suzuki has changed the dealer mode connector. It is a 6 position plug with a pliable rubber captive cap found on the left side under the subframe rail. The pair of holes on one end has a single wire, the next pair down has a single wire in the other position and the bottom pair have two wires. The bottom are the ones to connect together for dealer mode. They are a black with white stripe (ground) and a white with red stripe.

Loose THROTTLE any one????

The dealer was nice enough to lend me the tool, so I used and pointed in the manual for future reference the wires to jump.
Well there was no error, or let's say it stayed always at C00
So I decided to take to dealer, went by today to find some news, it will be ready tomorrow.
So the problem as the service guy told me was a faulty spark plug wire and he told that the throttle assembly was loose.
He told me that must had give a big back fire, I said didn't remember of any, but since she does small ones once in a wile and that she had little problems and never worked good from the day I bought. This was probably the problem, I will see how it goes.
He said Suzuki may not pay for everything, I just have to convince him that I didn't touch and I didn't touch the throttle.
So I say to all stromers, check for oils leaks and coolant leaks also don't forget your shifter so you want loose it like I did on a high speed curve, plus this last one, Check your throttles if there loose, specially if you have stalls.

To the mods, this kind of info should be posted on trouble or systems page for people to use, please move if already exists and I didn’t see.
