Has Anyone seen or used this new model?

MSRP lists at $650.00, Academic Superstore has it at $530.00.

Waterproof Bike specific GPS that includes RAM, blutooth in helmet set up.

RAM mount, Phone link to answer will riding.

Only down side is car accessories not include.

Still cheaper than the Zumo 550 after extra's are purchased.

** As long as it works as advertised**

The TomTom Rider and Rider 2 have been around for quite some time now. They are very popular on bikes and work well including their Bluetooth connection to the (supplied) Scala Rider helmet speaker and microphone.

The Rider 2 is really a road only device the Zumo has more capability for off road use.

The Rider 2 does not have the facility to play music the way the Garmin does.

If you use the search function of this forum you will find plenty of threads from owners and if you look through them there are heaps of photos of units mounted on bikes.

Have you considered the Zumo 450, Costco.com has it on sale for $350 ?
I do not have the TomTom, but I did order the Zumo 450 last week. No car accessories comes with it just like the TomTom.

I have a TTR2 and love it. I have used it this summer and its been on my bike for about 32,000km.

If you haven any specific questions, feel free to ask. It has some great features that the ZUMO doesnt, and vise-a-verse.

They come with a ScalaRider headset, but I dont have a BT phone, and cant be bothered listening to the turn by turn instructions.

Cheers!
