Needs more tools and clunky adjustments.

Cordless drill
Duck bill
Tire tooth
Tire iron
Omega clip

What do you do with rear wheels that do not have bearings in them?

There are some good fundamental designs. The Duckbill and how it and adjusts is good. The wall mount thing not so much. Rotating it 90 degrees and bolting it to a table/pedestal and using a more traditional bead breaker would be my preference. There are also times on heavy wall tires where you need leverage. Not sure grabbing the wheel gives enough. Would also be nice to have a wheel lock and a place to insert a bar into the duckbill so you can insert a pipe and spin the duckbill in those instances where spinning the tire doesn't give the needed leverage.

I'm going to look into them and see if I can buy the duckbill portion of their changer as it would work a treat on the $30 HF wheel clamp.

Note: The TiRx Sportbike Tire Changer is not sold for use with dual sport, cruiser or touring bikes. It has also been reported that this changer is not recommended for use with Buell motorcycles. We are working to extend the range of applications for this tire changer and will publish notifications when it will work for additional wheel and tire combinations.

I get it and glad there are more choices than less but this machine has some areas that could use improving. For changing soft sport bike compound tires this machine is overly complicated with too much

After reading the note on the site I see why they rely on simply spinning the tire. Honestly two 6" tire irons will spoon on/off sport compound rubber in seconds. I'm surprised that with a 24" lever they still needed the "tire tooth" to help get the bead started. The biggest thing for me is the Rube Goldberg bead breaker that would drive me nuts with the adjusting and readjusting to do suck a simple task.
I want to see the demo with the spoked rim and the tire that's been on it for 10 years.
Not recommended for adventure bike tires according to maker. Looks like it could be improved upon a bit.

Kind of genius if you ask me.

Real innovation in motorcycle tire changing. I'm not spending $500 on it though.

Looks like a crappy version of the rabaconda - for about the same price

At least the rabaconda has a decent dead simple bead breaker that doesn't necessitate the need for power tools 4 hands and a tire holder. Just line it up and pull down.

Not at all the same.

The Rabaconda is just a tire stand with a bead breaker. Have to use multiple tire irons. Way over priced.

Maybe you should watch the vid again. Innovative.

Maybe you should look at the new Rabaconda that I linked to ;)

Yes, it's a bit pricey!!!

All I can say is the initial purchase price of my tire machine was around $600 it has paid for itself 10 or 15 times over and continues to be fruitful

It is the only tool I have ever bought that either generated cash and/or beer. No one has ever offered to pay me for lifting their bike up on my $2300 lift but will throw money at me for my $600 tire machine.

Interesting design but I doubt it could be used for some of my rear tires - turning by hand to get the front bead on I suspect would not work - it takes a decent amount of effort with a No-Mar setup. It might work for one of my bikes that isn't as difficult. For that price you could get a No-Mar Cycle Hill changer that doesn't require the extra tools
