That's an old post. If you read on, full bore changed the rubber compound. Full Bore look very similar to Shinko's but have a slightly more aggressive tread, meaning slightly larger gap between the tread blocks. I've ridden on 3 Full Bore rear tires this year. I averaged about 6k with each tire. I'm still on the third tire, it's not quite to 6k yet but it still has plenty of tread.
Full Bore is a solid tire. I've ridden them on and off road. Great traction all around.
I'll be putting another Full Bore on the back at some point, but after this one wears out, I have a Karoo 3 ready to install.
Just a quick not about Shinko, I have used them for about a year and a half. I have put three 704s on the rear (one got a punchier, so I retired it early) I get about 7000-8000 miles out of the rear, but the front is still going strong with over 15,000 on it and it looks to be not over half used. I am totally amazed. :thumbup:
