Anyone who has the July issue of Aust. RoadRider will have come across the article on packing for a trip.
I have a list that I have compiled over a period of time, using idea's from various web sites that I frequent.
Thought it might be a good idea to have a thread here that we can add to overtime. Something for ppl to use/refer to when packing for the next "big trip" or day ride.

This list is not meant to be a be all and end all, just a checklist to jog your memory, and will depend on whether your camping or pubing it or going for a day or two or a few months (lucky you), ride tar only or like the hit the dirt.

Those that want a pdf of "the List" can email me and I'll send it to you [email protected], Seems the file is to big to attach as a pdf

That's more than I carry in my 4WD! I certainly don't have anywhere near that much for this weekend's trip.

Tnx for posting the list Muddie. It is very comprehensive but we can add or subtract depending on the trip. For me its good to have a hard copy so I can miminise forgoten items :headbang:. You never know what's around the next corner and sometimes you need to get yourself out of the shite :yesnod:. or help a fellow rider who didn't read the list :fineprint:

Used a similar thing years ago when doing camping trips with all the (5) kids. also had a box or two full of esential stuff that went every time, just chuck in the trailer.
