Seeking recommendations for mid December motocamping in Texas. Looking for decent weather and interesting roads. Can anyone help a brother out? :bom_cool3:

We have alot of good state parks in central texas and really good roads to explore. Google Texas Parks and Wildlife and they should have a list of the parks on their website, good luck and enjoy.

Yeah, stick to the southern areas. The coastal and big bend areas should have much milder temps than most of the state.

Watch the deer around the area mhoom suggested, they're thick as flies down there. You know it's bad when regular passenger cars are running around with front grille guards.

Depends on what you think "interesting" is. Unless you run into a front in the northern part, Texas is pretty much a year-round riding state so you could go about anywhere. If your location is correct our cold probably would not impress you.

I prefer E TX to the Hill Country. There are a lot of very good roads and you won't see very many riders. Plenty of lodging and camping sites, lots of good local cafes to eat at and it's usually pretty cheap.
