Yes $595, but...

Split two ways.... 300, 3 ways 200, and so on. Could be a good investment for a group of friends if the stated is true. (never used any of those myself)

I tried the Teka box a couple of times and couldn't really feel any difference. Ended up with a Power Commander custom mapped and now the bike runs great. They were able to get the fuel mixture down to 13:1 across the rpm range.

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting at 13:1 AF ?

I have a Dobeck TFI and with the Holeshot settings that Dale Walker suggested.

FWIW, I am getting between low 12:1 and high 13:1 across the board, with the meat of the power band and in the highway rpm range in the low 13:1 range. That was on the dyno on a 90 degree day(it was in an open service bay, so the temp was that warm for the dyno pulls) in September 07.

I get a true 43 mpg (based on a 4% optimistic odometer, so I factor that in to get the actual miles I travelled) at these A/F numbers. If I go by the actual odometer reading, I get a few more mpg, but no sense fooling myself...

MPG doesn't vary much between highway and around town, so the bike is performing well and getting good mileage at my 6000-7300 feet of elevation I normally ride at here in Colorado.

I'm still getting about the same mileage as before. 35-38 mpg in town and 45-46 mpg on the open roads at 65-75 mph. The motor is so much smoother now. The rough spot between 3000-4000 in almost completely gone now and the motor feels so much nicer above 4,000 rpms.
The bike pulls out of corners especially up hills so much better now. I'm running Staintune exhaust, no secondaries, K&N filter and the air snorkel removed. I picked up about 1 1/2 hp and a couple of lb.ft. of torque. The motor feels so much stronger now. I never got the Teka box dialed in like the PC. I sure wish I had done this 40,000 miles ago as the bike would have been so much more fun to ride all this time.

I'm getting the same mileage as you. I'm running the staintune map that came with the pcIII with a little fuel added to 0 % and 2% throttle opening below 3,000rpm to try and get rid of decel after fire. Helped a little. I would like to see the difference between your custom map and the staintune map.
I also have 43 tooth rear sprocket and still have the secondaries in place. Other than that I think are bikes are set up close to the same. I have the snorkel removed but will put it back when I do my next maintenence in a few weeks. I only noticed less bugs in the air box with it removed and a little more intake noise.
