I've had a pair of these for coming up on a decade and really like them. Comfortable to walk in. Be sure to clean and then condition with Lexol, especially at the flex points. Mine opened up at the seams there over time - dried on grit will eventually do this.

Oh, and they're not actually waterproof (nothing ever is).
