You are talking about a template, yes? A template in which you can use to cut the exact amount of material needed to cover a specific part on the bike?

If so, you'd need to print that off on a LF printer once you find the templates and they will charge you a lot of money so, to save a lot of time, just wrap it, and trim off the extra.

yes

I already have a large format output here at work so thats not the issue.

finding the pattern seems to be more difficult

I looked a while ago for this as well - just for hell of it. I was going to make some graphics for my bike and wanted to get a layout idea in Illustrator but came up short. For someone to wrap a bike in vinyl, I wouldn't think that you would need a template but for some one who is looking to not cover the entire part, I suppose you'd need a template.

Ill look again, ill let you know if I find anything!

i actually need the pattern. Don't want to go into too much detail here.

Looking at seeing if the parts can gets scanned via a 3D scanner.

I've been thinking about this too, wrapping the tank and fairings in custom vinyl. Is it really just heat, stretch and go? What kind of cutting is necessary? Anyone have a source for custom printed stuff?
