Recommendations on a tank bag for a 2018 DL650XT?

I'm looking for something not too big, with ports for ear buds, and with a slope than conforms to the downward slope of the tank. Also magnetic.

thx!

I'm leaning towards the Motech Evo Engage, but wish it was about 20% bigger. If anyone has one, could you post a photo? Not magnetic though.

I dont think a magnetic bag that will conform to the slope of the tank will happen on a '18 DL650XT due to the plastic tank trim.
THIS is what Suzuki shows for a bag that will conform to the downward slope of the tank:/all/suzuki_accessories-adventure/563a5e5487a8660b6c83fc79/large-ring-lock-tank-bag
This is shown for both the 650 and 1000.
I have this bag, is excellent. Made by Bags Connection, also sold by SW Motech less the Suzuki or Vstrom embroidery.
Shown here for $249 retail from Suzuki, sold by MR Cycle for $184. This is a tank-mount bag, and requires the mount for the tank, but comes with the matching bag mount. But after 20+ years of magnetic mounts, this tank mount system is a blessing.
I have the smaller bag as well, but after buying the larger bag, I never use the small one.

Wolfman Explorer Lite, good size for the bike. Very easy to detach two buckles for filling of gas tank. There is too much plastic and odd shapes for magnetic bags, I tried.

I like the look of that bag, Stu!
My Suzuki large bag is a bigger version of the same thing, same company.
Either from Suzuki or Bags Connection, I love the bag and their tank mounts.
To me, there was comparison with the Givi mounts and bags I was looking at.

Consider gettig a bag with a quick release. Magnetic mounts are fussy and scratches can result if you aren't careful.

My wife and I use Givi Tanklock (quick release) topcase. Lots of variety and sizes and the release is so handy and convenient. There are other quick release setups but I haven't tried them.

yea, happy with this bag and Tank ring setup, can't speak to the magnetic mounted bags, but the Tank Ring is great.
Easy on/off, looks clean, no straps or Magnets to scuff up your tank. First time user with this setup, money well spent.

I've always used magnetic bags. I never had a problem with them, still have 3 of them. But since I got my '14 DL1K, and none of them would work on my tank what with all the plastic trim, I reluctantly bought a tank-mount bag.
I'll never go back to magnetic again. Convenient quick release, not contact with the tank at all. I should have bought ring-mounts years ago. Mybe if I dig my old Kawasaki and Honda out, I MAY use the magnetic-mount bags. But given a choice now, I'd do do tank mount every time.

I did a 5500 mile trip with a quick lock bag. It released just fine, but I found reengaging it very fiddly. Sometimes it would snap back on immediately, sometimes I actually had to get off the bike to look under it to get it lined up. That's why I'm going with magnetic. The magnetic bags now have material that won't scratch the tank. The straps just don't do it for me, and can also be fumbly and need adjusting.
Waiting for the Cortech 2.0 Sloped Tank Bag to come back into stock. Don't like bags that stick out "into the air" over the slope.

I have the XS 308 on my 2013 650 and it is not in the way. I have it on most of the time since with the power port internal connection it is good for carrying electronics. It is big but I don't notice it when riding. easy to remove and replace when refueling.
