So my bike decided it was tired and wanted to lay down today. I have the suzuki hand guards and the bike ended up "resting" on the left guard. The bottom mount/alignment point of the guard popped out and knocked the clutch lever sensor cable off and bent up the pins. Took me "a few" minutes along the side of the road to figure out what happened and why my bike wouldn't turn over when I hit the button. It looks like the guard isn't actually attached at that point and just has a u-shaped tab against an nut.

Anybody have this happen before? There a good way to prevent the guard from popping out on the bottom in the future should my bike decide to take a nap? Seems like it could be hard on the sensor pins.
