Hey Paul,

Good to meet you all to.
Although it was my intention to pop over to Canungra for breakfast and home again, it was just too nice a day to waste on domestic duties. So I headed out of town with no fixed destination, and ended up exploring some of those dead end valleys to the south of Beaudesert. Kerry, Christmas Ck, Chingee Ck...
Absolutely stunning scenery, just gets better as the valleys tighten up and the roads turn to tracks. No pics though, who takes a camera to breakfast?? So heres a map.

I got home around 2:30, not bad for a breakfast run. :hurray:

I went as far as I reasonably could on all of them. When they looked like I was on someones driveway I turned around.

I'll go back in a couple of weeks and get some pics, although I don't expect to be lucky enough to see Mt Chingee swathed in a cloud doona at midday again. I've lived around here all my life and I've never seen some of these places. Shame on me.

See you Friday.
Pete.
