I'm about to install the Stebel horn and have some questions regarding wiring.. I can look at pictures all day, but I'm the kind of guy that actually requires a step-by-step tutorial. I want to be sure I'm setting this up the right way, since I keep seeing differing opinions on grounding and the like... Do I have the following steps correct?

1. Remove wires from OEM horn.
2. Positive wire (don't recall the wire color) goes to the 86 blade on the relay
3. Negative wire (again with the color) goes to the 85 wire on the relay
4. Red Wire going from 30 blade to + battery terminal
5. Red Wire going from 87 blade to + Horn terminal
6. Black Wire going from - Horn Terminal to - Battery Terminal for grounding

Thanks!

I don't have the relay pin-outs handy but that sounds right. I'd recommend adding a 15 amp fuse between the battery and the horn though.
Gah, I KNEW I was missing something.. No in-line fuse means trouble down the road (literally and figuratively).

Edit: I just remembered that I'm using a fuse block for all my stuff.. So, I'm guessing I don't need an in-line fuse now!

If you are using some other electrical item that pulls a lot of power and hit the horn, you might blow the fuse feeding the fuse block. Everything on the block will go dead. It is better to wire the horn directly to the battery with the + line fused between the battery and the relay.
