My 2007 WeeStrom has been sitting for a year or so. I popped in a new battery and tried to start her up, but no joy. The fuel light came on. I opened her up and discovered that the tank was bone dry. I add a gallon of 91 octane and a little SeaFoam injector cleaner. Still no joy. Next steps?

Do you hear the fuel pump spin when you turn the ignition on? If so I would pop the fuel line off and put a funnel underneath, flip the ignition on and off, and see if the fuel is flowing. If it's not, my money would be on a clogged fuel filter.

Make sure that there is no CHEC displayed in place of the clock. A chec display points to side stand down in gear or cutout switch. Also don't forget to check the clutch switch is being activated via the clutch lever or not perhaps the connector come adrift.
