If anybody is going to the motorcycle show this Saturday, I'll be working at Brampton Motorcycle Association booth in Hall 1 until about noon Saturday. Feel free to come by and introduce yourself. My gently beat up 2013 Wee will be at the booth all weekend, but it's not nearly as much fun to talk to.

My club put 4 of our member's bikes in our booth at the show. A fairly new Harley (please don't ask me which model) with some custom work done to it, an older Harley springer in near mint condition, a one owner 1984 Honda Nighthawk recently rebuilt, and my 2013 Wee. I fully expected the older Harley and the Nighthawk to be the bikes that generated the most interest, and thought the wee was mostly filling in space, but it turned out to be the exact opposite. A steady stream of visitors wanted to talk about the Wee, with questions from the mundane (can this keep up on the highway, can I ride this 2 up?) to the technical that I can't really answer (questions about the valve checks, performance numbers, gear ratios in the transmission...). Two people offered to buy the bike, but I won't be parting with this one anytime soon. I had several people ask about the AdventureTech products on my bike, particularly the over the dash GPS mount. Was able to direct them all to the AdventureTech website with the enthusiastic recommendation that @richlandrick earns with every order. Directed 1 rider taking delivery of his 2023 Vstrom next week to this forum, and another longtime Vstrom rider who had somehow not managed to hear about this forum before. Also talked to one forum member who's planning on coming out to @V-Tom's Bancroft lunch, but sadly I can't remember his name. I'm old. Forgive me.

As has been the case with post-pandemic motorcycle shows in Toronto, it's a thinner show than in previous years, and the audience is starting to reflect that, the attendance looked pretty lean too. Seemed to be a fairly successful day for our club though, lots of people willing to stop and talk about it, lots of interest in riding with us once we start up in May. Now I just can't wait for the show to be over so I can get my bike out and ride it again.

Yes it was a little thin on content and attendees.
We arrived shortly after 11 and parked right by entrance 1.
Never done that before.
Said Hi to your bike, the fellow at the booth looked at me a little sideways.
Still it was a nice day.

Glad you had a good day at the show.
Reviews of the show on another local forum were not we nice.

Can I ask what this "club" is that you speak of?
When I choose to ride in a group, I ride with the Brampton Motorcycle Association.
Brampton Motorcycle Association

They're a good bunch, but all pavement. Members ride just about everything, from my Darling Bride's little Versys 300, to one fellow on a Hayabusa. We've got a ride director who plans interesting routes for us every Sunday from early May til Thanksgiving weekend. There are also rides on Tuesday nights, but we don't have planned routes for those, whoever shows up picks a leader for the night from among themselves and follow that rider for the night. Occasionally there are longer trips, 10 members are going on a 5 day trip to Americade this year. It's not a formal club with a patch and a prospect process, more of a social club for riders. Members come out for as many or as few of our rides and events as they choose, with no pressure for more. Membership is just $35/year, so you don't need to come out very often to get your money's worth. This is my 7th season riding with them.
