Has anyone used NGK CR8EIA-9 as a replacement for the OEM MR8E-9. NAPA and Dennis Kirk say guaranteed fit but I'm just looking for some real world experience.

Thanks in advance for any reply,
Dave

I installed them in my 2017 DL 650 last year, at about 27,000mi/43,000km while doing other four-year maintenance. So far, no issues at all. After ~7,000mi/11,000km, I haven't noticed any performance or economy improvements (or losses), but I wanted the longer lasting iridiums. The OEMs were in good shape still. The CR8EIA-9s have the same reach and firing temp as the stockers.
Yes, I replaced the OEM plugs with the CR8EIA-9 plugs that I bought on Amazon. My bike is a 2020 DL650 XTA. Works great.
Thanks for the response folks, I'm doing my valve adjustments and wanted to change the plugs while I was there.
My plugs didn't look bad for 18k mi. just a really big gap (.041)
Pinpoint electrode will tend to be wider gap. No downside. ( -9 = .0394)
