Used to live in Austin. There's like 3 snow plows in the whole county. It is not safe to drive there with snow or ice, pretty much nobody has the skills to deal with slippery conditions.
We just went through an ice storm that was just shy of enough to really screw up all my trees. Sunday night through Tuesday morning we are in for 6" to 10" snow.......beautiful snow. I can not wait. I have had 5 phone calls already from my snow plowing customers. The tractor is full of diesel fuel and the snow plow is mounted.
I took a class at an outdoor venue and people were grumbling because it was cool, overcast and windy. The instructor commented that there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing choices.
