I've had a lot of bikes over the years and the last one was a Vstrom 1000 that I liked but was just not quite what I wanted so I sold it last Winter. Than I found this a few moths ago sitting outside for 3 years with a tank full of water and GREEN from the damp PNW weather. Got it for a song thinking there were enough in farkels to not pass it up. I messed around with it for a a few evenings and it came to life! Been riding it for a coupe months and I have to say this wee is a great machine. The different look has grown on me and I'm going to add the stock windscreen, Acerbis bark busters and new set of Pro Tapper bar

s and grips to personalize it. Head lights are really bright and the after market dual horn set up lets the automobiles know I'm there! This thing is plenty fast and lighter than the 1000 with the stature of the bigger bike ... very happy!!

Any information you may have on my lighting. Please let me know. The bottom one is the high beam and it is LED, the top is low beam and HID. Not sure if others out there have used these types of lights or not? I'm not familiar with them although they put out a helluva a lot of light!
