Here's mine just after I installed the OEM side case carriers. Took delivery in May and have about 9200km on it now, which is about a month's worth for V-Tom! A few more farkles installed since these pics were taken: OEM aluminum chain guard, OEM heated grips and the Adventuretech peg lowering kit.

I'm trying studs on some knobies for old strom. I've read it works out to extend season.

That is cool. I have seen videos of dirtbikes doing that before on ice tracks. I am lucky to live in a place where we don't get snow often. When it does, it lasts a day or 2 then it goes to the 50s again in a couple days.

I tried them one winter. I didn't get into any real snow but I didn't find them any better or worse (down to -18c / 0f) than my regular tire (Metzler Torrance Next.)
