Yet another grey and misty morning .... but at least it was warm, 9 deg C.
What started out as a ride out to the bikers cafe east of Market Rasen became a tour of north Notts and a lap of Clumber Park as Network Rail had decided to close the main road from Bawtry to Gainsborough ....
Stopped at the Green Hut cafe at Ollerton roundabout for a tea and saw my first electric motorbike not in Police ownership. The police get loaned them for free over here.
The guy was a bit woolly about range but said he gets about 140 miles to a 95% charge .... i’d ridden 86 miles just to get there !
$21,500 seems a lot for a motorbike with crap range to me ...
Anywayup ... he rode off .... noisily ... into the mirk.
So the Green Hut Cafe at Ollerton ..... recommended.
