the speed rating will be "H", front load rating is 595 lbs, rear 715 lbs.
Manufacturers test riders have been very happy with the ride, handling and performance of the tires, and have been comparing them favorably with Michelin Anakee.

Shipments to US distributors suppose to be this week.

I have an old 705 front I'm waiting to match up with a new radial rear. Can't wait :yesnod:
You'll have a bias ply in front and a radial in the rear. Let us know how the bike performs.

Hopefully it will last longer than an Anakee. Your'e lucky if you get 6 or 7K out of one.

I can't wait. I've got about 2k on my 705 rear, and I love it. Seems to be the best mix of on/off road for me. Hopefully the price point on the new tire will be good.

I don't see it being any different than normal. Mixing and matching bias-ply and radials on motorcycles isn't as big a deal as it is on cages.

Yep, My rear 705 is about worn out. The front still looks fresh. I was wondering if the world was going to come to an end if I put a new radial back there.

Any statements from Shinko on this? :fineprint:

Nope...it won't. The world will still turn, as will your wheels. I'm going to give the new radial versions plenty of time on the market to make sure they don't end up like the bias ply version.

I have 11,000 plus on my Anakee 2 and expect I'll get over 14,000; but I will be looking at reports on the new Shinko.
How are you managing that on a 1000? Daaayum:eek6:

Actually I'm a construction supervisor who would rather shovel 17 cubic yards of gravel than tell my operator to spread it with a machine - and I'm just shy of 60 years old! And while it doesn't bother me a bit to have a Hyundi take me off the line, I do like to touch my pegs on corners.

You tell'em 1.3G. I would do the same thing when I was in the construction business

The front radials arrived yesterday. Tread looks the same.
Good. The tread pattern is what made these tires more real-world dirtworthy than most other choices short of a set of TKC knobbies.

FYI....... By the way, if you can purchase three tires which puts the order over $200.....SHIPPING IS FREE!!!!!!

I think $78 for the rear is a good price.

My new Shinko 705 radial just arrived. :hurray: But I don't have time to get it mounted before my ride to Payson tomorrow. was really looking forward to giving it a good test run tomorrow. Oh well it will have to be another weekend.
