so, I finally got my 705s from the brown truck yesterday. I got the rear tire mounted successfully, and noticed that the tie is directional. I had happened to mount it correctly, so all was good. I looked at the front tire, and it definately has a rotation ----> arrow on it as well. However it looks like it has the opposite tread orientation as the rear. the rear has the treadblocks facing down vvv with proper rotation, the front has the treadblocks facing up ^^^ with proper rotation. It seeems they would both go the same way..

I havent mounted the front up yet (ran out of time lastnight)

Any comments on this?

All motorcycle tires are like this, use the arrow, it's correct.

Well, almost all. The rear's main job is traction for engine power, so the tread goes one direction. The front's main job is traction for braking, so the tread goes the other way--or at least that's the conventional wisdom.
