Id love to hear from some of you who opted for them years ago and have experienced satisfactory durability from a particular supplier still selling them.

I like the idea, but the real P-40 flying tigers had some red in the design. Someone at least used to make them like the original.

Thanks for responding. Great looking and inspirational example!

Amazon has a mind numbing selection of red gummed offerings to choose from and only this single black and white option, AFAIK.

I'm into monochromatisism for this black gen1 and find the more subtle offering suits me better.

I had a couple of scale model examples as a young model builder and WW2 movie fan. Love it! that was one badazz prop plane!!

If you have a local vinyl print shop, they can make them for you. No idea what that costs though. If you end up doing this, please post pics!
