Today I learned that CO2 cartridges are vastly superior for seating the bead than common portable air compressors, even a good one like the pricey Cycle Pump. I had an air seal after one cartridge and the bead popped with the second. This gave me 14.5 psi in the rear tire.

I topped it off with the compressor.

I keep forgetting about it, but I WILL try it on my next tire change. I already have the ether here.

If its not symetrical then deflate and put some more soap where its sticking

Start adding air while beating the tire there with a rubber mallet

Starting fluid or oxy acetlne.. get the flame good the quench it fill tire with gas mixture and light

I have used the either for larger tires but I have yet to have a problem to get a tire to seat on my motorcycle rim.

Isn't it Aquanet that is used for Potato Guns? Tha't be a handy thing in the cosmetic case for those Emergencies. And you could have a hell of a nicely pimped Pompador!
