Just got back my seat pan with Seat Concepts foam and cover installed. Well made and looks more expensive that the cost to recover. piping and cover material have a great look and feel. Have yet to put miles on the seat, but initial feel is firm and wide. Looks like it will work for long hauls. I will post a review of the seat in action once I put more miles on it.

I expect you are going to love it. I have one and know I love mine. It is hard to believe that they can sell it for the price they do.

good tush experience

Just thought I'd throw in my .02 - I only have about 300 miles on my Seat Concepts setup but I'm loving it. The stock seat (2011 Wee) put all the pressure right in the middle with basically no thigh support and even short rides had me shifting about to get comfy. The new one is wider so I can spread the load, feels like a good foam so far - firm enough so you don't sink in but enough give so no hot spots. I got the all carbon fiber look vinyl, looks very nice and seems pretty heavy duty. Time will tell. It is significantly taller or maybe it's more the extra width but I could easily flat foot the stock seat, with this one I'm on the balls of my feet at a stop. Not an issue with 31 inch inseam but moving bike around requires scrunching forward almost to the tank to get more traction. Along with Richland Rick's footpeg plates my achin' old knees are very happy, but wrists not so much. Santa's bringing risers and a longer front brake line to address that. There is also seemingly more room front-to-back so it is easy to move forward or back to change angle of back (missing a couple of disks in back so can't lock into one position for long - good thing I live on a small rock in the Pacific=no long rides). Pillion area looks very comfy but my wife won't get on a bike anymore after we lost a good friend to a drunk 19 year old.
So, for me this is a great value and well built product but of course when it comes to seats YMMV.

seat concepts

I just got my new seat concepts foam and cover installed. I'm lucky enough to live in the same town as the guys! What were the odds of that happening? Anyway, they were great guys. I rode into their new shop Wednesday morning and they customized the new, softer foam to my liking, installed it and the new cover while I waited. Did a fantastic job. My buddy and I left their shop and rode to Idyllwild for lunch and back home. Only a little over an hour of saddle time but so far it's great. I'm not kidding, this is one of the best values around as far as improving the ridability of my Wee. And again, let me reiterate how great Lendon and Robert are. A super experience overall.

I like my Seat Concepts seat, and I just installed one on my KLR650 this weekend as well.

I got the firmer foam, since I am somewhat large, and it's fantastic.

However, my wife complains that her portion of the seat is far too hard for comfort. Not sure yet how to resolve this, but she was pretty happy with the accommodations on the stock saddle.

I don't know now you feel about carving up her end of the seat, but I've got a 1" thick square of Sunmate med firm, 16x16. Yours for the cost of shipping. Might help soften things up, or could make a comfort pad if the electric turkey knife stays inthe kitchen. PM me if interested.

Seat Concepts Seat

For me, there are many pluses with this seat. It is level, so I don't slide forward. It is wider and firmer than stock, so it is more comfortable. I haven't taken a long ride on it yet, but I am sure it will let me ride longer in comfort than the stock seat.

It is a little taller, but that is not a big deal to me. The only thing a little annoying for me is that is makes me sit farther back. Even with bar risers, it is a bit of a stretch to reach the bars now.
