How many on here ride with those on? I'm just curious, not doubting them and cheap enough to try. Reviews are good but I take reviews on product websites with a grain of salt. If I was selling a product would I post the bad reviews or only the good? I'm willing to try it if riders on here swear by them.
I have no connection with the company Bead Rider. I have however owned 2 of their seat covers. The original wooden bead cover and a ceramic bead cover.
  • They both are great for comfort.
  • They both allow airflow which is great for summer riding.
  • They both keep rain/moisture from the rider.
  • The wooden beads are 'slick'. Meaning you can easily move around while riding.
  • The ceramic beads are not as 'slick'
  • They both will increase your riding height by approx. 1/2 inch.
Hope this helps (y)

Thanks....I may give the ceramics a try. It's a cheap enough experiment. To be honest, the best seat mod I've done is to cut a channel out down the middle of the seat pan. I saw an old thread about it from RichlandRick if I remember right. I rode over 2,000 miles on the stock seat with and without my sit & fly on it and was just fine when I got back home. Last year before the mod and the same trip I was starting to feel it by the time I got home.
