Rush will be playing at the Saddle Doom on 18 July, will order a ticket and head on out there on my Wee.

Any other Strommers attending?

Cheers!

Do you have the new album yet? I just picked it up... funny I was getting ready to pop it in when I saw your post.

I downloaded the new Snakes & Arrows from ITunes the morning it became available. Its not too bad.

If you dont have it, get the R30 album, fantastic.

Infact, listen to the R30 while reading Neils book "roadshow". I also highly recommend his "ghost rider" as well.

Cheers!

Too late, buddy, I've read everything Mr. P puts out as soon as it hits the shelves. ;)

I also have every album Rush has ever recorded (and some they didn't).

Did I mention I'm a drummer, and have been playing and teaching drums/percussion for 18 years? You could say, I'm a fan...

I actually found Traveling Music to be a very revealing read into the mind of The Professor. More personal and reflective than most of his others.

hey rcacs, the rumor I heard about that show was someone in the audience chucked a beer bottle cracking Geddy directly in the head. He swore after that that he would never play the Peg again. I know it was the 70's but any recollection of that?

Got the new album 2 days after release. I like - some stuff on there that is right at home on albums of old, yet some new stuff that is a bit different for them. I was also happy to hear they put in two instrumentals on the album - always a welcome addition.

MonkeyGrass - we have to hook up and talk shop about drums. I'm no expert, and I really don't play, but I've always wanted to. Still trying to get the wife to let me buy the Roland TD-3S so I can start practicing and play a "kit" without driving her nuts.

I've got 12th row center for the Indianapolis, IN show on 8/26.

Cheers.

Well that sounds like a good "campfire chat" with a 6-pack in hand, after a good long day of riding at the TP rally!!!

Maybe so, I have never heard that. It seems odd that they have never returned to Winnipeg, so maybe thats true.

Winnipeg is very well known for the quality and quantity of major acts that play here. Especially with the new MTS Centre downtown. The Stones have played here 3 times even.

Cheers
