Ok, so I checked my rear spark plug and all looked good, then figured I'd check the front. So I have to rotate the radiator to gain access, after removing most of the plastic on the bike. Well, I undid the bolt and the radiator rotates maybe an inch! So I tried loosening the remaining bolt, no difference. It's funny that you're supposed to be able to rotate the gas tank up out of the way too- but I've been stuck just removing the whole thing! Any tips to get to the plug?

I just changed the plugs on my 2003 1000 VStrom. Remove the two locating hex head bolts that go through the front lower side of the fairing (they screw into the radiator) and the one bolt that locates the radiator on the left (clutch) side of the bike. You will then have to push/rotate the radiator forward with some minimal force to overcome the coolant hoses. Take it from me, you will be able to remove the front cylinder plug with the plug wrench in the Suzuki tool bag. It is a tight fit, but it can be done...............make sure the bike is cold!!!!!!!
