Wiring Diagram. If you don't have the switch with the engage light or don't care about it, you don't need that relay. If you want to use it, this does work:
Dispswitch settings. These settings offer a mild surge on set, but otherwise its pretty smooth. I am happy with these settings and will not be changing them.
BTW, one thing to consider if installing the rostra is the power draw. When the motor is pulling the throttle cable, it is using additional power, so if you run anything beyond heated grips and the CC, get a voltmeter and don't let it dip into the 12s.
Considering it works and both clutch and brake disengagement while you are using it I would say it's probably wired correctly. But not all rostras are the exact same model and yours may be newer than the one in the wiring diagram or have updated software.
That being said you may have to ground the blue wire off the rostra unit that is now going to the brown/black wire. It has something to do with a car having a clutch disengagement which the rostra doesn't like. I found a nice write up on a tacoma about it. It shouldn't affect how it works at all except take the clutch disengagement out of the loop.
Well worn topic with a twist, I believe the 18 & 19 DL’s are sporting a new and unique fuse arrangement from previous years. Red and black wires leaving fuse terminal. I’m trying to identify the plug directly under the fuse box to allow a plug and play switch.
Oh and third Wee, first post!
I have a 2012 650 weestrom. I'm tired of taking off the seat and disconnecting the abs fuse to disable it while descending steeper dirt paths and steeper singletrack. So scary when the the abs comes on and the brakes go off. So here is my solution. Installing an adapter in place of the ABS...
Hi Guys,
I have a 2005 Wee which now has a coolant leak. I assume it is a hose or clamp issue, as the fluid appears to be dripping from the to left of the radiator. My question is, is there a video showing how to take the fairings off in order to access the leak? I haven't done this before and...
