It may be of some interest to those thinking of saddles to have a look at Mayer's website. I am going to have mine redone by him, no previous experience with him but he seems to be fairly well regarded.
It is my understanding that if you order in March and prepay he is offering 20% off for dual sport type bikes which would put a solo saddle in vinyl at just under $260. This is what I've done and will be riding down in a few weeks to have it done on site.

Sometimes Rick has trouble keeping up with the business end of things as he is a small shop but I have also been very happy with my custom saddle.

Was talking to a guy on the way to Daytona who had a Rcoky Mayer seat on his BMW. He was unhappy with it and said it could only have minor mods as it is a molded saddle.

Rick's are hand built from a variety of types of foam and he can do pretty much anything with them.

If its as good as my Russell Day-long Saddle you will be very happy indeed!
