Removing foam from helmet

Having said that, I have shaved a little styrofoam in a few spots to avoid pressure points on my head. That was done with the foam intact in the helmet.

What did you use to shave the styrofoam?
I'm considering that on my HJC modular.
It's giving me 2 pressure points that I want to shave down.
