I have a 2007 Vee that a buddy and I just did some maint. on . We set valves , flushed coolant, synced T/Bs. We put it back together and I noticed at idle my volt dummy light was flickering red. Idle is 1250rpm and all electrical connections that were unplugged are plugged and secured. I've put about 350 miles on it and it seems to run great but now it has a solid red light at idle. My thought is it could be the original battery finally going bad. It turns over freely and fuel pump bu
ilds quickly .It fires right up. I just don't want to walk out some day to a dead battery. Any suggestions ?
Hi, I'm back. I just installed a new OEM stator. I thought it went quite easy until I took the NO LOAD reading and all three contacts read 67-68 volts. I used two different R/R's and only have 12.8 at the batt. The service manual says (more than 75V at 5000rpm hi beams on engine cold)and 14-15.5at batt. Looking for answers
