Dear troopers,
I just ordered a set of NGK Iridium spark plugs on Amazon and I wanted to know if you have a way of telling fake-knockoff plugs from genuine ones. I found some generic info online but I feel they are outdated. Any advice?

Thanks, I saw that but unfortunately, I believe it's slightly outdated. I have read on other forums that knowckoffs nowadays look much closer to the real thing and bad stamping or color differences have been sorted out.
I believe that one of the ways to really tell is checking if the Iridium laser welded tip is really there.

Oh hell, and I just installed 4 I got from Amazon. Mumble mumble. They were direct from amazon and not a secondary seller. And the gapping was right on and the same across all 4. I guess i will have a look at the ones on the side. Sigh
