Hey guys,

My pre load knob doesn't seem to have a stopping point. When I rotate the knob either direction, it clicks every quarter of a turn.

Is this normal? I don't see any movement with the shock either.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know how far it is from lock to lock but it's a long freakin' ways. I was surprised when I went to set the rear sag after I had the shock rebuilt just how much cranking I had to do to get it set. Quarter-turn increments won't be noticeable.

If you watch the shock while turning the knob you should be able to see if things are moving as they should.

Turning the adjuster clockwise the resistance to turning should increase as you approach maximum preload. If this is not happening you definitely have a problem. Try removing the knob to see if it has deformed on the shaft ?

I discovered the knob expanding at each turn feeling like its working. No change to actual preload mechanism. Threw the soft plastic
knob in the parts bin and a 14mm wrench in top box for easy access.
Whose got the cool CNC Billet aluminum replacement knob?
