Ok guys/gals I need help. I bought a new set of dog bones to lower my bike about 3/4 and while chatting with one of the guys on Delphi forum about it was told that I should raise my front by about 15mm to stabilize the bike's suspension. This doesn’t seem to make sense to me since it would in effect reverse my intent to lower the bike.

Can some one tell me what you've done to your ride and maybe explain this whole suspension setup to me?

Thanks in advance,

I don't think the guy on the Delphi forum meant you to "raise the front" of the bike.

I am sure what he meant was to raise the fork tubes in the triple trees by 15mm.

I made new dog bones that are 15mm longer than stock & raised the fork tubes in the triple trees by 20mm. I used a vernier caliper to ensure both fork tubes were raised by the same amount

Your first reply had it right.
